The cover for Hell: The Sequel does a wonderful job at representing the rap duo Bad Meets Evil. The bleak and dreary atmosphere that photography Danny Hastings shot does well to indicate the darker tones of the artists style. It illustrates how the duo is known for their skill when it comes to rapping, and the broken records and speakers indicate how they are not to be messed with lyrically. They are shot from a lower angle, which gives the duo an imposing look, which adds to the themes of them being at the top of their game.
Mike Saputo's design work for the logo is also great at denoting each rapper's styles and personality within their part of the logo. The ‘B’ in Bad doubles as a ‘5’ for Royce Da 5'9", along with the smaller ‘9’ next to it. While the ‘E’ in Evil is backwards, for Eminem's stylized logo. The font choice for ‘Hell: The Sequel’ also is very reminiscent of Eminem's "The Slim Shady EP", where the rap duo first appeared in the song titled “Bad Meets Evil”.
